Background: Scoot and Dodge was created in 1970 by Harry Ed Dunkle from Brookville, Pennsylvania. It was in the CALLERLAB Advanced List for 1977. It was listed as A-2 about 1980. It was moved to A-1 in 1989.

Definition

Starting formations: Box Circulate only

Dance action: The trailers Scoot Back, while the leaders Dodge (as in Walk and Dodge).

Ending formations: A Right-Hand or Left-Hand Box ends in Back-to-Back Couples.
