Background: (Named Dancers) Cross was added to A-1 in 2008.

Definition

Starting formations: Any appropriate formation in which the designated dancers are facing on a diagonal.

Dance action: The named dancers diagonally Pull By with each other, using their outside hands.

For example from a Two-Faced Line:
Wheel and Deal, Beaus Cross
— After the Wheel and Deal there are Facing Couples.
— Each Couple has one Beau dancer.
— Those two Beau dancers use their outside hands to pull by.
— This example ends in a Left-Hand Box.
