Background: Quarter Thru was created by Holman Hudspeth from Detroit, Michigan in 1969. Grand Three-Quarter Thru was created about 1978. It was added to A-2 in 1987 and moved to A-1 in 1989.

Definition

Starting formations: Right-Hand Columns (of 6 or 8)

Dance action: Those who can Turn 3/4 by the Right, then those who can Turn 1/2 by the Left.

There must be dancers who can do both parts of the call. The call is not proper from Magic Columns.

Ending formations: A Right-Hand Column ends in a Right Hand Tidal Wave.
