Hands needed at the start: Neither for the dancers in the Couples facing out
Hands held at the end: Adjacent hands of the Couples who have completed the Cross Cloverleaf
Body flow at the start: For those doing the Cross Cloverleaf: Sideways blending into a clockwise or counter-clockwise motion.
Body flow at the end: For those doing the Cross Cloverleaf: same clockwise or counter-clockwise motion as at the start
Good preceding calls:

— Double Pass Thru, Leaders Cross Cloverleaf
— Three-Quarter Tag the Line, Outsides Cross Cloverleaf
Good following calls:

Possible Modifiers:
— There is some debate about whether or not dancers can Roll after a Cloverleaf. In this application, saying “and Roll” can easily be confused with saying “and Anything”.
