Background: Right Roll to a Column is listed in Burleson’s as #3226 in the 1980 Supplement. Right Roll to a Wave is listed in a much later Burleson’s Index as a variation of #3226. The September 1977 “CALLERLAB Direction” lists Right Roll to a Wave in “Advanced Dancing’s Basic Calls (revised 9/77)”. By 1982 it was in the Advanced 1 List.

Definition:

Starting formations: From a Tandem, Back-to-Back Dancers, or Facing Dancers.

Dance action: The leaders right-face (left-face) U-Turn Back, and all (Left) Touch.

Ending formations: Mini-Wave

Timing: 4 for the Leaders and 2 for the Trailers
