Triple Scoot
A) This is the 8-person variation of Scoot Back. The Center two dancers also do the Arm Turn action.
B) Just like Scoot Back, this requires the use of the same hand three times.
C) Dancers like to echo “Triple Scoot” with a “Rooty Toot Toot”.
More teaching suggestions:
— The action produces the same result as a Trade with the adjacent dancer.
Quick Summary of Triple Scoot: Scoot Back is defined from a Right-Hand or Left-Hand Box and from a 1/4 Tag. Triple Scoot is an expanded version of Scoot Back that is intended for use from a Column. The two dancers looking out of their Box of Four and towards each other in the center do the “Extend and Arm Turn” action instead of the “Leaders Box Circulate” action.
