Standard Applications:

a) Veer Left
— i) Eight Chain Thru, “0” (Normal Couples)
Comment: Veer Left occurs far more frequently from facing couples than Veer Right.

— ii) Double Pass Thru or Trade By, “0” or “4” (Centers are Normal Couples)
Comment: Veer Left occurs far more frequently from facing couples than Veer Right.

— iii) Left-Hand Parallel Two-Faced Lines, Normal Couples
Comment: Veer Left occurs far more frequently from facing couples than Veer Right.

b) Veer Right
— i) Right-Hand 1/4 Line (Similar to a 1/4 Tag but a Two-Faced Line in the center) Normal Couples
Comment: Ferris Wheel, Centers Veer Left and then Veer Right is probably the most common usage.

— ii) Parallel Right-Hand Two-Faced Lines, “0” (Normal Couples)
Comment: Adding the clue Back-to-Back increases the success rate.

— iii) Eight Chain Thru, “0” (Normal Couples)
Comment: Use of Veer Right from facing couples is uncommon so expect scrambling.
