Call Analysis:

Hands needed at the start: Neither
Hands held at the end: Neither hand is in use, but adjacent hands should immediately be joined to create the new formation

Body flow at the start: Clockwise or Counterclockwise
Body flow at the end: Same as at the start

Good preceding calls:
— Circulate
— Veer Left
— Veer Right

Good following calls:
— Circulate
— Bend the Line (in cases where the body flow is smooth)

Ending Formations for Standard Starting Formations and Arrangements:

a) Parallel Waves (Right or Left Handed), “0”, “1/2”, “3”, “4” (Same sex in center or together):
Boys Trade or Girls Trade or Same Sexes Trade
Ends in the same formation and arrangement as at the start.

b) Parallel Waves (Right or Left Handed), “1”, “2” (Girls or Boys facing out & those dancers active):
Girls Trade or Boys Trade (those facing out Trade)
Ends in Facing Lines. If Right-handed and Girls facing out then the result is Normal Couples.
If Left-handed and the Boys are facing out then the result is Normal Couples.

c) Parallel Two-Faced Lines (Right or Left Handed), “0”, “1/2” (Normal or Half-Sashayed Couples):
Boys Trade or Girls Trade or Centers Trade or Ends Trade
Ends in the same formation and arrangement as at the start.

d) Right-Hand or Left-Hand Columns, “3”, “4” (4 of same sex in center):
Boys Trade or Girls Trade or Centers Trade or Ends Trade
Ends in the same formation and arrangement as at the start.

Some Extended Applications:

a) Lines Facing Out, Normal Couples: Girls Trade
Ends in Parallel Right-hand Waves with the girls facing in
