A.) Prepare the action by calling Right hand shake, Pass Thru, and Courtesy Turn.
B.) Boys, you have to let the girl go as you walk past the other couple, then Courtesy Turn.
C.) Right hand shakes, and left hand shakes, now turn the girl until you’re thru!
More teaching suggestions:
— Separate the teaching of Right and Left Thru from the teaching of Square Thru. There is often negative transfer of previously learned knowledge that causes dancers to mistakenly do a Courtesy Turn when trying to Square Thru.
